"Yea, thus saith the Spirit: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand; yea, the Son of God cometh in his glory, in his might, majesty, power, and dominion. Yea, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, that the Spirit saith: Behold the glory of the King of all the earth; and also the King of heaven shall very soon shine forth among all the children of men." How grateful I am for us to live at a time where the glory of God's gospel is all around us. How grateful I am also for the people in my life who also "shine forth" among the children of men. Let us remember each day that whether its an act of kindness, a smile, or a hug, that shining forth the light of the Savior can make all the difference for someone in a time of need. May we strive always to lift the hands that hang downward, and to forever remember our Lord Jesus Christ.

Welcome!

This past weekend was one of inspiration and discovery. Some of the recurring themes which I was taught can be exemplified in a few words. Faith. Fear. Light. Faith to never fear. Faith to move towards the light. One theme that also pressed on my mind is that becoming who we want to be doesn't have to be this looming ideal that overwhelms us. We will have comfort and guidance from the first moment we take a step from where we're at. The hardest part of a journey is the first step. May we all remember that no matter how perilous and dark the path may seem, that we will have the strength to overcome if we depend on the faith within us, big or small.
